The workbook is designed as a supplement for a Calculus II course taught at most American universities.
Instructors are required to cover a lot of material in a short period of time and this schedule only allows for one or two examples for each topic which is not sufficient for most students.
The workbook provides many more examples with solutions videos to help students master the material and prepare for exams and quizzes.
The author used these examples and videos in the Fall 2012 Calculus II course at the University of Illinois at Chicago with significant improvement in exam and quiz scores from previous semesters.
